Bénédicte and Christophe Piat – a dream come true…
On the eastern edge of the AOC Bordeaux, the traditional Chateau Couronneau is located 180m above sea level – an unusual height for the Bordelais. The total of 80 hectares consist of meadows with idyllic trees, only 50% of the total area of the estate is planted with Merlot and Sauvignon.
During the harvest, the grapes are hand-picked, each grape is tested on a selector table, only healthy berries are vinified. Then the wines are fermented cold for a few days to make them fruity and aromatic.
